Hallo zusammen,
es hat wieder ein wenig gedauert, aber endlich melde ich mich wieder! Die letzten Tage waren aber auch ziemlich aufregend, ständig gab es was zu tun. Die Jungs zusammentrommeln, Bühnenoutfits und Instrumente besorgen, die Bandproben, und zu guter letzt natürlich das Konzert selbst.
Und es war einfach unglaublich. ich hätte nie gedacht, dass ich das noch mal hinbekomme. Aber es war alles wie früher, bis auf das Publikum. Die waren alle noch besser drauf als sonst....

Hello everyone,
it's been a while, but finally I get to touch base with you! But the last few days have been pretty exciting, there was lots of stuff to do Rounding up the boys, obtaining stage outfits and instruments, the rehearsals and of course the concert itself.
It was really amazing. I never would have thought that I'd manage that again. But everything was like in the old days. except the audience. They were in an even better mood than back then.
So here's a couple of pictures from the concert!

Da spielen wir die Zugabe, unseren besten Song: "666 - The Number of the Plush".
Die anderen beiden Fotos sind direkt nach dem Song aufgenommen worden. als wir uns beim Publikum bedankt haben!

That was when we played our final song, our best one: "666 - The Number of the Plush".
The other two photos were taken right after that song, when we said thank you to the crowd.

Ach ja, bevor ich's vergesse, meine Band wollte ich euch auch noch vorstellen:

Da wäre einmal Iain. Iain stammt aus einem kleinen Ort nordwestlich von Inverness in den schottischen Highlands. Außerhalb von IRON TEDDY spielt er Dudelsack und ist Gärtner in einem Schlossgarten (den Namen habe ich vergessen). Bei uns sorgt er dafür, dass die Bassline wie ein Uhrwerk den Rhythmus vorgibt.

First of all, there's Iain. Iain is from a small village northwest of Inverness in the Scottish Highlands. At home he plays the bagpipes and is a gardener in some castle's (I forgot which one) park. At IRON TEDDY he's responsible for making the bassline keeping up the rhythm like clockwork.

Dann natürlich Frankie, unseren Schlagzeuger. Wenn man den gemütlichen Kerl zu Hause sieht, wo er hauptsächlich die Songs vom Rat Pack laufen lässt, kann man sich kaum vorstellen, dass er auf der Bühne der hämmernde Motor einer Band der New Wave of British Teddy Metal ist.

Then there's Frankie, our drummer. If you saw the jovial guy at home, where he usually listens to the songs of the famous Rat Pack, you wouldn't believe that on stage he's the rumbling engine of a New Wave of British Teddy Metal band.

Das hier ist Jimmy, unser Leadgitarrist. Klein, zappelig und immer gut gelaunt hüpft er auf der Bühne umher wie ein Gummiball. Dabei schafft er es trotz allem, das Riffing durchzuhalten und sogar komplizierteste Solos zu spielen, als wären es Kinderlieder.

This is Jimmy, who plays the lead guitar. Small, fidgety and always in a good humour, he's bouncing on stage like a rubber ball. And still he manages to keep the riffing clean and even plays the most complicated solos as if they were children's songs.

Und dann bin da noch ich, Katie. Tja, was gibt's schon zu sagen? Ich singe und unterstütze Jimmy mit meiner Gitarre. Und ich bin den Jungs superdankbar, dass sie nach der langen Pause noch mal mit mir auf die Bühne gegangen sind. Und natürlich Olli, der das ganze erst möglich gemacht hat. :o)

And then there's me, Katie. Well, what can I say? I sing and support Jimmy with my guitar. And I'm really gracious that the guys still went on stage with me, even after that long break. And of course many thanks to Olli for making all this possible! :o)
