Ich kam in Kandahar, Afghanistan, am 21. April 2007 nach einem fünftägigen Trip aus Deutschland an. Ich hing für einige Tage mit einigen Typen von der US Air Force herum, und ihr könnt mich hier mit einem unserer Freunde der US Army sehen.

I arrived in Kandahar, Afghanistan on the 21st of April 07 after a 5 day trip from Germany. I hung out with some US Air Force guys for a few days and you can see me posing with one of our friends from the US Army.

Es ist so heiß! So verdammt heiß, als ob man direkt auf der Sonne wohnen würde! Aber wenigstens bin ich umgeben von Hunderten Meilen Wüste – in jede Richtung. Ich sag's euch, Hunderte Meilen Wüste werden gar nicht langweilig. Es gibt Wind, Staub, Dreck,... ähm... Mehr Wind. Und häufig haben wir auch Staub und Dreck gemischt mit Wind... So viel Action! „God!!“ Entschuldigt... „Allah!!, hol mich hier raus…!”

Its HOT! Damn HOT, like livin' on the sun HOT!... but at least I'm surrounded by hundreds of miles of desert in every direction. I tell ya though, hundreds of miles of desert just never seemed to get boring. They have wind, dust, dirt, ummm.... More wind and often times we got dust and dirt mixed into the wind... So pretty much non stop action... "God!!!" Excuse me... "Allah!!!, get me outta here..!"
